Margaret Mwanakatwe was appointed United Bank of Africa’s (UBA) managing director and chief executive officer. Mwanakatwe also doubles as the chief executive officer for southern Africa. A Certifified Chartered Accountant and Bachelor of Business Administration degree holder, Mwanakatwe has a successful  record at management levels in the private and public sectors spanning over 20 years. Prior to her appointment, she was the managing director of Barclays  Ghana.
