Kulika Uganda (KU) whose mission is to inspire communities, households and individuals with self-confidence and provide skills and knowledge to harness their resources for lasting change economically and environmentally sustainable in their lives, has secured funding from KOICA and Sumsung through Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to implement a Project entitled “Design for second life Innovations”. The interventions will be implemented in Rhinocamp and Imvepi refugee settlements in Terego and Madi – Okollo districts’
Kulika Uganda is seeking dynamic, resilient and experienced individuals to join our team for the following position;
Position: Business Trainer
Reporting to: Project Officer
Location: Arua
Duration: 23 Months
Purpose of the Job
The incumbent shall be responsible to train youth in market oriented technical, entrepreneurial and managerial skills, confidence building and skills necessary to enhance their potentials and sustainable earning. He/she would be responsible to conduct Basic Business Skills training Training, Pre & Post test assessment, Training Evaluation, Assessment and evaluation of business ideas etc.
Key Functions/Responsibilities
• Basic Business skills training
• Business Plan development around successful solutions
• Mentorship to benefiary individuals and groups
• Marketing plan development
Job Specifications/Requirements
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Microfinance,Economics, Entereprenureship or any related field from a reputable institution
• At least 3 years experience in conducting entrepreneurship trainings
• Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office) is mandatory
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills are must
