Position 1: VVOB Education Advisor – greening and green agrifood

Summary
· Duty Station: VVOB office in Kampala

Job description:
The Education Advisor “greening and green agrifood” will be responsible for i) the development of content of a new green agrifood continuous professional development (CPD) course for O-level agriculture teachers, ii) the drafting and roll-out of a capacity building trajectory of Unite campus lecturers that will deliver the green agrifood course in climate-smart agricultural practices. Furthermore, the education advisor, greening and green agrifood will advise his/her colleagues on the greening of existing preservice teacher training trajectories as well as existing CPD courses by hardwiring fundamental principles of environmental sustainability into those trajectories and courses.
