Job Title Financial Advisors (Multiple Vacancies)

Job Purpose:

The overall purpose is to generate new business for Britam by interacting with potential clients, understanding their needs, and guiding them to the best-suited insurance policies. This role involves both acquiring new customers and servicing existing ones while ensuring their satisfaction and trust in our services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prospecting potential customers using direct methods such as calling and face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking.
  2. Delivering excellent customer service by understanding client needs and matching them with suitable insurance products.
  3. Regularly meeting sales targets and coordinating sales projects.
  4. Supporting clients through the insurance claim process.
  5. Keeping up to date with changes in the insurance industry and advising clients accordingly.
  6. Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process and suggesting improvements.
  7. Maintaining records of all insurance policies and customers.
  8. Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and proposals.

Knowledge, experience, and qualifications required

  1. Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in a sales or customer service role
  3. Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (COP) is an added advantage

Mode of Remuneration: Commissions, based on revenue generated.
