Joint Health Care Investments Ltd (JHC) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), registered Company by shares, wholly owned by Joint Medical Store (JMS) The focus of JHC is to provide health care solutions, including key interest in the manufacture of quality affordable health care products using latest technology, and the company aspires to be the leading producer of health care solutions. JHC is a key partner in implementing healthcare manufacturing technology and sharing expertise to support communities in the most pressing healthcare challenges in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). JHC is therefore looking for competent, self-driven personnel to fill the position of  Head of Operations.

Job Title; Head of Operations - JHC.
Reporting to; Managing Director.
Supervises; Business Development Coordinator Head of Production

Main purpose of the job; To coordinate the overall general administration and management of the day-to-day activities of JHC and offer strategic support towards the growth of the business lines within the company. 

Key Performance Indicators;
1) Market analysis and understanding of trends
2) Product development based on the current and projected future product needs
3) Market development - development and implementation of marketing plans, employment of marketing teams and their monitoring, etc
4) Cost-effective raw material sourcing
5) Development and implementation of the company business plan
6) Effective quality control

Person Specifications Qualifications;
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical sciences or Engineering or Business management or
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB. ChB)

Additional advantage
• Qualification of Pharmacy with work experience in the manufacturing industry or pharmaceutical production industry.
• Master of business administration or Post Graduate training in Business management, accounting, or marketing

Experience
1. High-level executive with substantial experience in business development
2. A minimum of 3 years experience in business development within the healthcare sector, preferably in manufacturing or selling products and services to both local and international healthcare industry or someone doing business promotion of health-related commodities.
