Job Details:
Duties and Responsibilities

1. In charge of overall administration and management of the school.
2. Plan for physical development of the school and professional development of the staff;
3. Plan, organized, direct and coordinate the teaching programs and activities of staff and pupils;
4. Ensure proper planning, budgeting, and accountability for the school activities and resources in consultation with the Board of Directors;
5. Co-ordinate the functions of the Board of Directors and accounts to them
6. Supervise and appraise all the employees of the school;
7. Direct activities concerning pupil admissions, provision of supplies, and welfare of pupils;
8. Participate in the implementation of the Education Sector reforms related to Primary Education;
9. Prepare progress and summary reports for presentation and submission to the Board of Directors and Ministry of Education and Sports, where required;
10. Perform any other duty assigned by the Board of Directors.

Qualifications and Working Experience
a) Should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education (Primary). Any additional relevant qualification is an added advantage.
b) Must be a female aged between 30- 40 years.
c) A minimum of 3-5 years of working experience at the level of Headteacher in a Private Primary School.
