The Company: Terrain Services Ltd. is a Ugandan Contractor based in Lubowa.
• We deliver state-of-the-art bridges, factories, warehouses and hangars, drone-based surveys, water projects, marine projects, foundation and groundworks, and quality civil engineering works to the growing infrastructure industry throughout East Africa.

• To meet a recent surge in workload, we seek to employ additional competent and dynamic persons to fill the positions advertised below.
• Staff are remunerated with an excellent package of salary, transport allowance, field allowance when required, and health insurance.

The Positions: We are looking for:
1. Contractor’s Representative – 1 post. Applicants should be qualified with a master's Degree in construction-related technology, a proven track record in the management of Civil and Oil and Gas projects, and twenty-five years of related work experience with at least five years in the Oil and Gas sector.

2. Scheduling Engineer/ Planner – 1 post. Applicants should be qualified with a master's Degree in construction engineering and management, certified BIM practitioner, certified with Primavera P6 (EPPM) 8, proven experience with FIDIC contracts, and twenty years of proven experience, with at least five years in the Oil and gas sector.

3. Site Engineers – 3 posts. . Applicants should be qualified with a minimum of a Civil Engineering Degree and at least ten years of related work experience.

4. Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Manager – 1 post. Applicants should be qualified with a minimum of an applicable Degree in construction-related technology and at least ten years of related work experience.

5. Construction Camp Manager- 1 post. Applicants should be qualified with a minimum of an applicable Degree in hospitality or related courses, and qualifications in hotel and camp management in the Oil and Gas sector. Knowledge of HSE and food safety is a must. Applicants must possess a minimum of ten years experience working in the Oil and Gas sector.

6. Environmentalist – 1 post. Applicants should be qualified with a minimum of an applicable Degree in Environmental Engineering with additional qualifications in occupational Health and Safety, NEBOSCH IGC and at least seven years of related work experience.

7. Human Resource Officer – 1 post. Applicants should be qualified with a minimum of a Degree in Human Resource Management, trainings in different Human Resource practices. Knowledge of labour laws, National Content requirements and ISO management systems is a must. Applicants should possess at least five years in Human Resource practice.

8. HSE Officer – 2 posts. Applicants should be qualified with a minimum of an applicable Degree in Environmental Engineering/ diploma in occupational Health and Safety, ISO lead auditor training, NEBOSCH IGC and at least seven years of related work experience.

9. Site Administrators – 4 posts. Applicants should be qualified with a minimum of a business-related Degree, qualifications in public administration/ people management, and at least seven years of related work experience.

10. Draughtsman – 1 post. Applicants must possess a minimum of a diploma in Civil Engineering/ Architectural Design and at least five years of related work experience.

11. Site Supervisors (earthworks, concrete works) – 10 posts. Applicants should be qualified with a minimum of a Diploma in construction-related technology and at least seven years of related work experience.

The current portfolio of projects covers all areas of Uganda. Applicants must be willing to work upcountry with the possibility of further work anywhere in East Africa.
