Joint Medical Store (JMS) is a Church founded private not for profit organization whose mission is ‘’Provide value adding health solutions to accredited health units and other
stakeholders’’ We are pleased to announce the job openings for all interested and qualified candidates wishing to join an enterprising JMS team,
as below:

1. Job Title : Manager Programs, Partnerships and Advisory Services
Reports to : Executive Director
Supervises : Strategic Initiatives and New Partnerships Officer, Health Strengthening Systems Officer.

Job Purpose:
1) To coordinate and participate in JMS’ development program, implementation, monitoring and reporting to ensure effective and efficient achievement of organization’s goals and strategic objectives.
2) To coordinate and participate in the preparation of grant proposals for submission to prospective donors; develop and coordinate work plans to ensure the achievement of the strategic objectives, ensure compliance with donor terms and conditions, including high quality reporting.
3) To coordinate and participate in private sector engagements to diversify and grow funding sources and private programs within the organization.
4) To establish, conduct and coordinate the research agenda of JMS with particular focus on operational research in the areas of JMS strategic focus.
5) Lead the set up of a consultancy Unit in JMS, develop and implement a business plan for this unit to diversify the JMS business portfolio.

2. Job Title : Strategic Partnerships and New Initiatives Officer– (1 job position)
Reports to : Manager Programs, Partnerships and Advisory Services
Supervises : None

Job Purpose:
The position will oversee the Business Development aspects / unit, leading the development of concept notes, fundable proposals, winning grants and ensuring high quality donor and stakeholder engagement. The Strategic Partnerships & New Initiatives Officer works closely with cross-departmental teams to ensure that they provide input
into business development and new initiatives and improve funding situation for JMS Organization.

3. Job Title : Quality Assurance Officer – (1 job position)
Reports to : Manager Quality Assurance
Supervises : None

Job Purpose:
To ensure the quality of trade and non-trade commodities, maintaining the quality management system, and conducting pharmacovigilance. He/she will also be concerned with diagnosing performance and SOP adherence problems of staff while recommending and coordinating implementation of appropriate interventions. The QAO shall liaise with the Quality Assurance Unit, Capacity Building Department and Human Resources &Administrative department to implement the interventions regarding the Centre of Excellence.
