The transformation of agricultural and food systems is important for smallholder farmers and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Northern Uganda to promote local rural economic development The central objectives are to improve the competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, to increase income and employment with a special focus on women and young people, to promote the ecologically, socially, and economically responsible use of natural resources, to enhance value creation along local and regional value chains and to contribute to the reduction/ avoidance of CO2-Emissions.
