Our Client, an International NGO, that is an independent child rights and humanitarian organisation in Uganda wishes to recruit a Technical Advisor, Youth Employment & Entrepreneurship.

Job Title: Technical Advisor, Youth Employment & Entrepreneurship

The Technical Advisor is a member of the extended Country Leadership Team and is expected to contribute to the development of the organization’s strategic plans – both long and short term. The job holder ensures that emerging best practice in youth employment is incorporated into programme strategy and project design and that the results of learning are fed back into the design and adaptation of strategies.

The Technical Advisor, Youth Employment & Entrepreneurship will report to the Director of Programme Dev’t & Quality

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university
• Master‘s degree (preferred) in Climate change related courses, Development Studies, Social Sciences or equivalent, with professional training on Value chains, Agricultural based value chains and climate change adaptation and mitigation
• Strong knowledge of gender equality and child rights will be desirable
• At least 10 years’ experience in design and implementation of Youth programming in a reputable organization and in both development and humanitarian contexts
