Strengthening Education Systems for Improved Learning (SESIL) is seeking an Education Specialist for Community Initiatives to join the national team in the implementation of the Community-led Learning (CLL) and Community Engagement initiatives. Through CLL, SESIL is aiming to improve the literacy and numeracy of over 200,000 Pl – P3 children in the next year.

Based in Kampala, with up to 50% travel in the regions, you will work with a team that will support the effective and sustainable establishment of CLL lessons, delivered by volunteers, across over 4,000 communities. You will also lead the roll-out of a Community Engagement initiative to strengthen their leadership and ownership of CLL.
