Job Description
Mountains of the Moon University was first established as a Private University in 2005,by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), in accordance with the Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act 2001, as amended.
In January 2022,Mountains of the Moon University was taken over by the Government of the Republic of Uganda and established as a Public University under Statutory Instrument, number 2 of 2022. In essence, the University is a Public educational institution and a body corporate with perpetual succession and a Common Seal.
